Regarding personal data relating to you, you have the following rights with respect to us.


You have a right to information, correction, deletion, limitation of the processing, objection to the processing and to data portability. Where processing requires your consent, you have the right to revoke this, with respect to us, with effect as to the future.


In accordance with article 21, paragraph 1 of DSGVO [GDPR], you have the right, for reasons arising from your particular situation, to object at any time to the processing of personal data relating to you that takes place on the basis of article 6, paragraph 1 e of DSGVO [GDPR] (data processing in the public interest) or on the basis of Art. 6, paragraph 1 f of DSGVO [GDPR] (data processing for safeguarding a legitimate interest); this also applying to any profiling based on this regulation. In the event of objection, we will no longer process your personal data, unless we can provide compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves the assertion, exercising or defence of legal entitlements.


If we process your personal data in order to conduct direct advertising you have the right, in accordance with article 21, paragraph 2 of DSGVO [GDPR], to object at any time to the processing of the personal data relating to you for purposes of such advertising; this also applies to profiling, to the extent that it is connected to such direct advertising.

In the event of your objection to the processing for purposes of direct advertising we will no longer process your personal data for this purpose.

Right of Complaint to a Supervisory Authority

You also have the right to complain to a relevant data-protection supervisory authority about our processing of your personal data.


In cases of use of the website merely for information purposes, i.e. when you do not register or otherwise transfer information to us, we collect only such personal data as is sent to our server by your browser. Whenever you decide to take a look at our website, we collect the following data that is technically necessary for us to be able to show you our website and to guarantee its stability and security. The legal basis for this is article 6, paragraph 1 f of DSGVO [GDPR].

In the server log files the following points are stored:

(4)       the date and time of access

Personal data is only collected by Berlinovo Apartment GmbH if you actively contact us directly, e.g. by e-mail or via our Internet site. Otherwise personal data is only stored if you disclose this to us.

Please notice that a non-coded e-mail is not protected against access and can therefore, under certain circumstances, be read by third parties.


All of the personal data collected, processed and utilized in this context is only used for purposes of contract processing and for safeguarding legitimate interests in terms of advice and care of our customers, as well as for requirement-specific product design. The legal basis for this is given in article 6, paragraphs 1 b and 1 f of DSGVO [GDPR].


On principle, a transfer of your data to a third party does not take place, unless we are legally obliged to do so, or unless passing-on of the data is necessary for implementation of the contractual relationship, or you have previously consented, explicitly, to the passing-on of your data.

External service providers only receive your data to the extent that this is necessary for the processing of your order. In such cases, though, the scope of the data transferred is limited to the necessary minimum. If our service providers come into contact with your personal data, we make sure, in the context of the order processing in accordance with article 28 of DSGVO [GDPR], that they also comply in the same way with the regulations of data protection law.

We process your personal data solely within the EU/EEA.


You can, amongst other things, apply for an apartment electronically by means of the online application sheet. Your disclosures will then be collected and processed by us for purposes of settling the application process electronically. The legal basis for this is article 6, paragraph 1 b of DSGVO [GDPR]. We use this data exclusively for processing your application and we do not pass it on to a third party. If your application results in the conclusion of a lease contract, your transferred data can be stored in our documents relating to the lease relationship for purposes of the customary organizational and administrative procedures, in compliance with the relevant statutory regulations; article 6, paragraph 1 b of DSGVO [GDPR].

Obligatory disclosures are marked with an asterisk (*). If we request input via our application sheet that is not necessary for establishing contact, such disclosures are voluntary. These disclosures help us to further itemize your enquiry and to improve our handling of it. Where the details have to do with channels of communication (e.g. e-mail address, or telephone number) you also consent to our contacting you via these channels of communication. The legal basis is article 6, paragraph 1 a of DSGVO [GDPR]. 

You can revoke your declaration of consent at any time with effect as to the future.

Your data sent via the application form is transferred encoded.

Should no contract be concluded, we will delete your personal data after 6 months at the latest. If a contract is concluded, the data will be processed for implementation of the contract. After the end of a lease contract we store your data until all mutual obligations arising from the commitment, as well as the statutory filing obligations, have been settled.

The data is not used further for other purposes.


We have taken extensive technical and operational protective measures to safeguard your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction and access by unauthorized persons. Our security procedures are regularly checked and adapted to allow for technological progress.
